I think motivation is something a lot of people struggle with.  For me it's making that first step to accomplish something. You could say I am pretty lucky with the class schedule I have this semester.  Somehow I managed to get no classes on Monday or Friday. As great as that sounds I need to get myself out of bed on those days to get work done. That's where the motivation kicks in.  

Monday is basically my Sunday where I need to get homework done for the next day.  I need to make sure I am not sleeping in and wasting my whole day away.  One thing I do to motivate myself is plan something to do in the morning.  I make a point to make myself accountable to someone or something where I have to show up.  Helping film a TV show on campus on Monday mornings is that perfect thing.  I know I need to be there at a certain time and I look forward to going to film. After it is over I am up, eaten breakfast and ready for the day.  

As much as I love technology I can't seem to commit myself a calendar online where it syncs to all of my devices.  I need to see what I need done written in a planner and have that satisfaction of crossing it off.  I am the kind of person who needs to write every little detail in right down to having lunch with someone or printing out a paper in the library.  

To get something done you just need to make that first jump.  After that step you can feel great and be like "wow ok I can do this."  Again for me it's just getting out of bed.  It's a small thing but it's something.
